to prepare your quiche with onion and bacon for 4 persons you will need:
- 1 roll of puff pastry
- 1 onion
- 250 grams of bacon
- extra-virgin olive oil d’oliva q. b.
- 250 grams of ricotta cheese
- 2 eggs
- 100 grams of smoked provola cheese
- salt q. b.
- pepper q. b.
After you have prepared all the ingredients, you begin to prepare the recipe, chop finely the onion, then pour a drizzle of d’extra virgin olive oil in a frying pan and let it fry until it becomes nice golden brown. Now cut the provola in small cubes and the bacon strips . In a bowl, mix properly the ricotta with the eggs, a pinch of salt and pepper and work with the whips. This beat also add the provola cheese, the bacon and the onion now cooled and mix well. You can now roll out the puff pastry roll and put on a baking tray, using the baking paper of the packaging, pulling the edges toward l’ outside. Now pour the mixture of the filling and close the edges of the pastry towards l’ interior. Now bake the quiche in a preheated oven at 180° for 30 minutes, then take it out and let it cool completely before cutting into slices and serve.
