how to alleviate psoriasis
psoriasis is a disease of the skin irritating and chronic characterized by redness and irritation, and often accompanied by patches of thick, irregular borders, color silver-white, itchy and sometimes painful. Other symptoms include l’ inflammation and the pain. The problem mostly occurs on the knees, elbows, palms and scalp, but can also appear on other parts of the body. Psoriasis is considered an autoimmune disease in which the immune system mistakenly attacks the healthy cells of the body, thus changing the life cycle of skin cells. Normally, skin cells mature and die about once a month. But, in the case of psoriasis, tend to mature and die in less than a week, thus causing an accumulation of dead skin cells. The condition is often triggered by factors such as emotional stress, dry skin, sunburn, smoking, alcohol consumption, environmental factors, viral infections, or bacterial and’ intake of some medicines such as beta-blockers, and l’ ibuprofen. Most types of psoriasis go through cycles that alternate with patches to cycles in which there are no or are very minimal. Although there is no cure for psoriasis and it is difficult and frustrating, it is possible to use some natural homemade remedies to control the symptoms and prevent infections. We will then how to alleviate psoriasis:
a bath of flour d’oats helps to hydrate the layers of the skin and reduce the itching and l’ inflammation. It also softens and soothes the skin, as well as calm the nerves. Stir, then one cup of the flour d’oats finely powdered in a bathtub filled with warm water. Soak in this bath of flour d’oats for 15 -20 minutes per day during the most difficult periods. Then risciacquatevi with lukewarm water, dry the skin and apply a good moisturizer. L’ apple cider vinegar helps to restore l’s natural pH balance of the skin and helps prevent infections. In addition, it reduces the itching and l’ irritation of the skin. Mix a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar-organic in a glass d’of water and drink two times per day, especially during the skin eruptions. Alternatively, mix one part of apple cider vinegar and three parts warm water. Soak a cloth in this solution and use it as a compress for about a minute. Repeat several times a day, during the periods in which they have developed more spots desquamate.
