How to use?
duodenal Ulcer, gastric ulcer and esophagitis reflux: 1 capsule (20 mg) orally, before breakfast. In patients with duodenal ulcer the relief of symptoms is rapid and healing occurs within 2 weeks in most cases. In some patients, it may be necessary to have an additional period of 2 weeks for complete healing. In patients with gastric ulcer or esophagitis of reflux, the relief of symptoms is rapid and healing occurs within 4 weeks in most cases. In some patients, it may be necessary to have an additional period of up to 4 weeks for healing to occur. In patients refractory to other medications, the recommended daily dose of 40 mg, once per day, for a period of 4 weeks for those with duodenal ulcer and 8 weeks for the cases of gastric ulcer or esophagitis from reflux. In the Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, the recommended starting dose of 60 mg, once per day, which should be adjusted individually, and for a period of time that will be determined by the clinical evolution of the patient. More than 90% of patients, including severe cases or with an inadequate response to other treatments, were effectively controlled with doses between 20 mg and 120 mg daily. Doses above 80 mg daily should be divided into two jacks. Not recommended prolonged treatment for more than 8 weeks, except in cases of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and with medical follow-up rigorous (endoscopic evaluation and/or x-ray of the stomach of the patient at regular intervals). It is not necessary to dose adjustment for the elderly or patients with liver function or kidney function compromised. There is no experience of the use of omeprazole in children. Overdosage: no information is available about the effects of excessive doses in humans, and there are no specific recommendations for the cases of an overdose. Single-dose oral up to 160 mg have been well tolerated.
What are the evils that can cause me?

Rarely, and in general mild and transient form, there have been cases of nausea, headache, constipation, flatulence, abdominal cramps, weakness, dizziness and skin rashes. – Drug interactions: omeprazole can prolong the time of elimination of diazepam, warfarin and phenytoin, which are drugs metabolized by oxidation in liver.
