How to use?
- Generally, the recommended dose of Secfar for the treatment of Trichomoniasis, intestinal Amebiasis, and Giardiasis is 1000 mg, 2 tablets Secfar 1000 mg, administered in single takes.
- In children, should be used in the preparations Secfar 450 mg or Secfar 900 mg, with the dose recommended for the treatment of intestinal Amebiasis and Giardiasis, 30-mg/kg per day. Equivalent to 1 ml per kilogram of child’s weight, administered in single takes, preferably at night. For the treatment of Amebiasis of the liver, the recommended dose is 30 mg/kg per day, equivalent to 1 ml per each kg weight of the child, administered for 5 to 7 days of treatment.
